Discover Our Philosophy
At Château Canine, where science meets personalized care, we address your dog’s unique behavioral challenges with tailored training programs designed to fit their distinct personality and needs.
Our expert trainers start with a comprehensive evaluation of your dog’s behavior, crafting a customized training plan that leverages years of experience in animal training and medical care. This deep understanding allows us to offer solutions that support both pets and their families, grounded in evidence-based techniques and the latest research for long-term behavioral improvements.
But we go beyond just training; we emphasize the crucial bond between you and your furry companion. Through years of experience, we’ve learned that fostering a strong connection with your pet and making them eager to learn can be the biggest hurdle for pet parents. That’s why we focus on teaching you the "why" behind our training methods, not just the "how."
By creating a better understanding and a deeper bond, we help you become more effective in guiding your pet’s behavior, ensuring they not only thrive but excel. At Château Canine, you’re not just receiving training; you’re gaining a partner in nurturing a happy, well-adjusted member of your family.
Meet Our Founder/Head Trainer, Abe
Meet Abraham, Our Head Trainer
With nearly a decade of experience in animal training and medical care, Abe has developed a deep understanding of the behavioral challenges faced by dogs and their owners.
Professionally honed over the years, his expertise spans across working, pet, and service dogs, as well as a wide variety of breeds. Abe's experience even extends beyond canines, having worked with other species like horses, cattle, pigs and cats at the start of his career.
Abe’s passion for dog training began when he was 22, starting as a kennel manager at a doggy daycare and training facility. He worked his way up from there and was eventually offered an apprenticeship to become a trainer. After completing his apprenticeship, he’s continued to further his education by attending seminars, talking with mentors and working with some of the top trainers in the country.
Abe’s philosophy is that in the world of dogs, there are no true distractions—just competing motivators. To ensure our dogs focus on us rather than their environment, we must first become more rewarding than anything else around them.
